Welcome to the third edition of this newsletter. Still in the puppy stage, and it needs feeding!

😎
I've been called a lot of things in my lifetime, but "Linux Junkie" is one that I consider to be an honor. Over the years a lot of people have asked me how I get any work done using Linux exclusively. My answer? Easily... and more efficiently than ever before. More on that in a little bit.

Latest Releases

Debian 12 was released on June 10th. It rocks (as always), but this version—called Bookworm—rocks harder than ever. We're talking AC/DC meets Animals as Leaders... or some such nonsensical musical reference. To celebrate, I decided to install it on several test systems (clients and servers).

As a standalone, Debian 12 is currently listed at #5 on DistroWatch. (Four of the top 10 are also based on Debian). That list is always in flux, but Debian is usually up there toward the top.

Celebrate? Proclaim the glory? Yes, laying it on a bit thick. But don't worry, Linux evangelism is unlikely at my webinars—I can say that with 99.9% probability.
